New Fellowship for Mid-Career Professionals: FDA Tobacco Regulatory
Science Fellowship
The online application will be available June 4, 2012. Completed
applications are due June 18, 2012.

The Food and Drug Administration Center of Tobacco Products (CTP), in
collaboration with the Institute of Medicine (IOM), is launching a new
regulatory science fellowship program designed for mid-career
professionals to gain experience and expertise to further define and
develop the field of regulatory science as it relates to the
regulation of tobacco products and FDA's new authorities under the
Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act.

The fellowship is a 12-month, multidisciplinary residential program in
Rockville, MD, starting September 2012. Fellows will be placed in one
of three offices within the CTP: the Office of Health Communication
and Education, the Office of Policy, and the Office of Science. Each
fellow will be awarded up to $95,000. In addition, each fellow will
receive a relocation fund (not to exceed $10,000).
