Funding Opportunity: New Fellowship for Mid-Career Professionals: FDA Tobacco Regulatory Science Fellowship
New Fellowship for Mid-Career Professionals: FDA Tobacco Regulatory Science Fellowship The online application will be available June 4, 2012. Completed applications are due June 18, 2012. The Food and Drug Administration Center of Tobacco Products (CTP), in collaboration with the Institute of Medicine (IOM), is launching a new regulatory science fellowship program designed for mid-career professionals to gain experience and expertise to further define and develop the field of regulatory science as it relates to the regulation of tobacco products and FDA's new authorities under the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. The fellowship is a 12-month, multidisciplinary residential program in Rockville, MD, starting September 2012. Fellows will be placed in one of three offices within the CTP: the Office of Health Communication and Education, the Office of Policy, and the Office of Science. Each fellow will be awarded up to $95,000. In addition, each fellow will receive a relocation fund (not to exceed $10,000).
