About OPRS

The Office for the Protection of Research Subjects (OPRS) supports and manages the Scientific Review Committees and the Institutional Review Boards (IRB) for the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. OPRS provides regulatory guidance and resources to the review committees, the investigators, and the research teams. OPRS is responsible for research involving human subjects from the time the disease leader signs off until the time the first subject can be registered on the trial.
