Core Facilities

DNA Resource

DNA sequencing is used in conjunction with many different types of research projects, including gene discovery, serial analysis of gene expression or SAGE, construction of new plasmid vectors, site-directed mutagenesis, and identification of single nucleotide polymorphisms.  Thus, the list of research articles in which our core services have made a direct or indirect contribution is very long.

Sergei Koralov, PhD, of the Rajewsky laboratory (HMS), states that, “The facility has been invaluable in that they process the samples quickly and return high quality mini-preps and sequences.”

Daniel Tenen, MD (HMS and BIDMC) has this to say about the DNA Resource Core, “We consistently find yours the best (and the cheapest) [sequencing facility].  Keep up the good work.”
