Address to event

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Yawkey Center for Cancer Care
450 Brookline Avenue
Boston, MA

This half-day course will provide an update on the management and emerging therapies for Sarcoma and GIST. While breakthroughs in treatment using targeted therapies and new molecular-targeted agents have improved outcomes for patients with these rare cancers, the new approaches have also increased the complexity of treatment for providers. Through case-based discussions and Q&A, faculty will discuss how specialized local treatment approaches (surgery and radiation therapy), as well as targeted therapies and molecular-targeted agents can be applied in care for patients with GIST and other sarcomas.
