Overview

DF/HCC is the largest cancer research consortium in the nation, and there are substantial resources available to our research community. This section of the web site is intended for members and their support staff to access a number of these DF/HCC-specific resources, including:

Information sheets. These one- or two-page informational documents provide overviews of different DF/HCC resources and benefits of membership, including core facilities, funding opportunities, the clinical research process, and a list of senior and program leadership. Print them right from the web site, or contact the Communications Office if you are interested in a larger print run.

Event support. For DF/HCC-sponsored events, we offer DF/HCC signage for both podiums and easels, tablecloths for welcome or registration tables, DF/HCC folders for meeting materials, and a multitude of templates to help format your event collateral such as agenda, nametags, and PowerPoint presentations.

Meeting Registration. RSVP for DF/HCC-sponsored events online or request that a registration module be created for your event to simplify the RSVP process.

Pipelines in Oncology. DF/HCC Pipelines in Oncology is a monthly seminar series for pre-clinical and clinical investigators. We bring in pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry leaders to discuss promising projects and products in their oncology portfolio. Only DF/HCC members are permitted to attend these seminars, and the format typically allows for a presentation, discussion, and reception. Additionally, investigators have the option to set up individual 1:1 meetings with industry representatives, and fellows and post-doctorates may attend a luncheon.

Cancer Publications. We hold a subscription to The Cancer Letter, founded in 1973 by journalist Jerry D. Boyd. The mission of this publication is to report on current and controversial topics in oncology. We also catalog the NCI Cancer Bulletin, a biweekly online newsletter designed to provide useful, timely information about cancer research. Finally, there is a collated list of all of the major cancer research publications and journals.
