Rodent Histopathology Core

The Rodent Histopathology Core focuses on non-human pathology, primarily rodent. Education is a critical aspect of Core services.
This Core provides:
- Education
- Core pathologists teach and explain histopathologic diagnosis by examining slides with users
- Discussions with users often address issues of experimental design and lead to improved quality of fixation
- Conventional histopathology of paraffin-embedded, hematoxylin, and eosin stained slides
- Conventional special stains such as PAS, trichrome, and luxol fast blue/cresyl violet
