Research Abstract

I am working in the area of breast cancer genetics, both at a biological and clinical level. Clinically, I am interested in the application of genetic susceptibility testing in actual practice. More fundamentally, I am interested in the genes which confer susceptibility to breast cancer. Previous work has focused on BRCA1 and BRCA2, but future investigation will be directed toward the role of DNA damage and breast cancer risk.
