Within DF/HCC, the Gastrointestinal Malignancies Program has engaged in a wide range of collaborations across disciplines and institutions. Collaborative interactions within this Program include:

• Cancer Care Outcomes Research and Surveillance Consortium (CanCORS) project
• Improving Cancer Care in Massachusetts (CAMA)

• Development of a mouse model for pancreatic cancer
• Hedgehog in pancreatic cancer tumorigenesis
• Development/Cancer- Ramesh Shivdasani

• Phase II study of bevacizumab with gemcitabine and oxaliplatin in HCC (Andrew Zhu, Keith Sutart, and Charles Fuchs, Principal Investigators; DF/HCC protocol number 03-390).
• Phase I Bevacizumab with 5-FU and radiation therapy in Rectal Cancer (Jeffrey Clark and Charles Fuchs, Principal Investigators; DF/HCC 02-025).
• Oral SU011 in patients with metastatic carcinoid or pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (Matthew Kulke, Keith Stuart, and David Ryan, Principal Investigators; DF/HCC 02-317)
