November 01, 2016

AWARD DETAILS:
 up to $100,000 total costs
PROPOSAL DEADLINE: December 16, 2016 at 5:00 pm EST

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Physical Sciences-Oncology Center (DFCI PS-OC, www.psoc.dfci.harvard.edu) is dedicated to developing pilot projects in order to enhance the specific efforts of the PS-OC in the framework of evolutionary dynamics of cancer initiation, progression, therapy, and resistance. Our pilot projects will allow us to collaborate with the expertise of outside individuals, as well as with investigators in other PS-OCs, CCSBs, DF/HCC and others, and also to enable research for new ideas from investigators within our PS-OC. Please note that the integration of physical sciences and oncology is of special importance for a successful application.

We would like to solicit pilot project applications with this call. Your proposal should not exceed 3 pages and should contain a detailed budget and a brief description of how these funds will contribute to or accelerate the overall success of the DFCI PS-OC. Proposals may request support of up to a maximum of $100,000 total costs for the duration of Year 2 of the DFCI PS-OC. Please budget according to what you actually need for your proposal. We anticipate funding up to three projects.

Please submit research applications via email to smaisel@jimmy.harvard.edu. Applications must be received by December 16th 2016, 5pm EST.
