Research Abstract

We study molecular pathways underlying one of the most common human genetic diseases, neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1). To identify in vivo functions of the NF1 tumor suppressor, we have created a Drosophila model of this disease. We are also interested in identifying genes that modify tumor burden in human NF1 patients.
