Research Abstract

Dr. Granter is a recognized expert in the area of dermatopathology, including diagnostic clinical (human) pathology and morphologic analysis of various models of melanoma pathogenesis. He has an established track record in the use of immunohistochemical analysis of neoplasia in humans and in animal models. His work has yielded insights into the pathobiology of cutaneous disease as well as established the clinical utility of immunohistochemical markers for diagnosis. In addition, Dr Granter is an active mentor for junior faculty and fellows through which he fosters learning and critical thinking.
