Research Abstract

The broad focus of our research group is to understand the molecular signaling pathways that lead to development and progression of solid tumors. We employ integrated whole genomic analysis in combination with functional assays to study tumor progression. Ongoing research focuses on characterizing genetic and epigenetic (microRNA mediated) pathways involved in ovarian cancer development and in acquisition chemoesistance.
