Research Abstract

My research focuses on the development and application of new MRI methods for noninvasive measurement of tissue function and pathology. A particular focus is the development of blood flow imaging methods. One technique of MRI blood flow imaging, arterial spin labeling, has shown particular promise for characterizing tumor vascular supply and its changes with tumor progression or antiangiogenic therapy.
