My research focuses on the natural history of oncogenic viruses. I am currently conducting a PO1 on the role of EBV in the etiology of Hodgkin's disease, including the role of EBV-specific CTL, viral antibody patterns preceding diagnosis, and related risk factors. In a long term prospective cohort study in Japan, I focus on the natural history of HTLV-1 infection, the predictors of ATL, and the interaction with other viral infections.Publications
