Research Abstract

My research interest is in the morphologic analysis and clinicopathologic evaluation of gastrointestinal neoplasias with a particular focus on preinvasive lesions ("dysplasia"). Working closely with gastroenterologists and surgeons I have been involved most particularly with esophageal and gastric maligancies as well as hepatocellular carcinoma and more recently pancreatic cancer. I have been using most particulary immunohistochemical techniques as well as new molecular techniques in collaboration.
