Research Abstract

Previous research efforts have focused on dentofacial development in long-term survivors of pediatric cancer. These studies have compared the dental and facial growth and development anomalies secondary to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and combination therapies in patients with ALL, BMT patients, and head and neck malignancies. Our current research will be focusing on the impact of these dental and facial anomalies on quality of life.
