Cancer ImmunologyResearch Abstract
The laboratory is interested in the humoral immune response to cancer including prostate cancer and breast cancer. Human monoclonal antibodies to prostate and breast cancer are developed to study and develop passive and active immunotherapy. The laboratory is also interested in the humoral immune response in viral oncology and with EBV and HHV-8 in particular. Again, analysis of the antibody response will lead to a better understanding of the interactions of the immune system with these cancers and the design of effective active and passive immunotherapy.Publications
