Research Abstract

Development of new statistical methods to correct point and interval estimates of the effect of exposures on the occurrence of cancer and its biomarkers, for bias due to exposure measurement error, as occurs typically in observational epidemiologic studies; other epidemiologic methods as arise in the study of the relationship between cancer and nutrition and other environmental exposures, including power and sample size calculations for gene/environment interactions, point and interval estimation of the population attributable risk, tests for heterogeneity in meta-analysis, etc.
