Research Abstract

Dr. Lee's main research interest is in the role of physical activity in preventing disease (including cancer), promoting health and well-being, and enhancing longevity. She also is concerned with methodologic issues related to the assessment of physical activity. She has contributed towards the writing of the Surgeon General's report on physical activity and health, and served on the expert panel of the NIH Concensus Development Conference on Physical Acitivity and Cardiovascular Health.
