Research Abstract

Dr. Penson is the Clinical Director of Medical Gynecologic Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Assistant Professor at the Harvard Medical School. He sits on the national Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG) committees for ovarian cancer, rare tumors, and quality of life research. Dr. Penson serves as the chairman for two of the Institutional Review Board panels of Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare, and is very actively involved in the investigation of novel agents and treatment strategies in ovarian cancer, and psychosocial issues related to gynecologic cancer care and general oncology.
