Research Abstract

I am the disease-specific chairperson for pediatric non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and a member of the lymphoma core committee of the Children's Oncology Group. My specific research interest involves ascertaining the incidence of gallium avidity in pediatric non-Hodgkin's lymphomas through a multi-institutional study. I will then determine if in patients with gallium avid lymphoma disease-free survival is predicted by the time it takes to become gallium negative. A second research interest is osteopenia/osteoporosis following pediatric stem cell transplant as measured by bone densitometry.
