Research Abstract

Our research team focuses on the molecular basis of genitourinary cancers and improved treatments for patients with prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, and testicular cancer. In our laboratory, My laboratory-based research is devoted principally to the genetics and genetic epidemiology of prostate cancer, resistance to androgen deprivation therapy, the role ofandrogen transporters and understanding the role of non-coding RNAs in prostate cancer development and progression. Our clinical trials have focused on: introducing novel therapeutics to patients with high-risk localized and metastatic prostate cancer including novel hormone therapies, chemotherapies and vaccines
