Lymphoma and Myeloma

Research Abstract

My research interests encompass neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases of the blood, bone marrow, lymph nodes and other lymphoid organs. The majority of my ongoing investigations are clinicopathologic studies relating to unusual morphologic features of hematopoietic neoplasms or aberrant expression of particular antigens in these neoplasms that further our understanding of the disease and that may have diagnostic, prognostic or therapeutic significance. My research effort is expanding into the field of molecular pathology in order to identify molecular and cytogenetic markers in non-Hodgkin lymphoma that may help to define new clinicopathologic entities and predict tumor behavior and response to therapy.
