Research Abstract

The main interests of my laboratory are focused towards the development of novel molecular targeted agents for the therapy of cancer, with special emphasis on breast cancer. My laboratory has directed the pre-clinical and early clinical development of therapies against the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (HER1) and the closely related HER2 receptor. Our current work has expanded towards the early clinical development of Src, TGFb, HSP-90, CDK2, mTOR and PI3Kinase inhibitors.
