Research Abstract

My research focuses on adaptation of the gastrointestinal epithelium, particulary after resection. We are examining the physiological regulation of the intestinal sodium transporter SGLT1 in health and disease as a novel adjunct to current therapeutic strategies. In addition, I am involved in a variety of clinical studies involving GI tumors.
