My research is focused in three main areas: (1) adolescent exposures that predispose to adult malignancy (tobacco, diet, alcohol, physical activity), (2) cancer prevention policy-both primary and secondary prevention, (3) treatment of germ cell tumors in pediatric patients. Three cohort studies: Nurses' Health Study (NHS), Nurses' Health Study II (NHSII), and the Growing Up Today Study (GUTS) serve as the basis for my epidemiologic research; the National Consortium of Pediatric Oncologists, the Pediatric Oncology Group, is the basis for the clinical trials that I co-chair.Publications
