Neuro-OncologyResearch Abstract
My laboratory has created models of human neurologic diseases including Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease in Drosophila. We are now exploiting genetic analysis in Drosophila to investigate the role of various cellular pathways, most recently control of cell cycle, in these models. My clinical research has also recently focused on the control of cell cycle with studies of the proliferative potential of human astrocytes in the adult and pediatric brain.Publications
