Research Abstract

My research focus is in the clinical and molecular aspects of pancreatic cancer, in particular as it relates to cystic tumors of the pancreas. We keep prospective databases on pancreatic cancer and intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms of the pancreas. In the laboratory, we have a tissue bank with pancreatic tumor samples and have ongoing projects related to the molecular pathogenesis of pancreatic and other periampullary malginancies.
