Research Abstract
My primary interests lie in novel and creative applications of biostatistics to translational and clinical areas of oncology. While I have extensive expertise and experience in the design and analysis of cancer clinical trials, I have a increasing interest in translational research. My translational efforts are focused on the DF/HCC SPORE in Lung Cancer and the multi-disciplinary program in the etiology, pathobiology and therapy of mesothelioma based at BWH. I also work with DF/HCC investigators on specific projects in thoracic cancers and, more recently, in gastrointestinal malignancies. In addition to serving as the clinical trails statistician for the Program Project in Proton Radiation Therapy Research, my research at the MGH Cancer Center includes molecular epidemiology of esophageal cancer as well as clincal and translational collaborations in bone marrow transplantation.
