Research Abstract

I am currently in the midst of a two-to-three year hiatus with regard to research with the exception of some involvement in patient outcomes research for prostatic disease. This reflects the commitment to clinical application of shared decision making called Health Decision Resource. During this period, I will also be preparing grants to support a resumption of research in applied decision theory and outcomes research when Health Decision Resource is established. I also plan to pursue the applications of Health Decision Resource in educational programs for medical sutdents, residents and fellows, and practicing physicians.
