Research Abstract

Dr. Turner is currently working to organize and direct clinical outcomes research for children with central nervous system tumors at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He designed and created a comprehensive computer database for the Outcomes Program in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology that keeps tract of over 1200 present and past brain tumor patients. He and his team are conducting research studies on the late effects experienced by long-term survivors of pediatric brain and spinal cord tumors.
