Cancer Imaging

Research Abstract

Our research focus is on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of animal models of cancer. Our facilities include an 8.5T vertical 9 cm bore MRI unit, and a 4.7T horizontal 40 cm bore unit. Animal models from mice to rabbits can be studies within these systems. Pulse sequences include standard T1 and T2 weighted sequences, diffusion imaging, magnetization transfer, perfusion, and contrast enhanced studies. Personnel are available to assist in the planning and MRI scanning.
