Research Abstract

My research focus is on small animal (mouse) molecular imaging, across all imaging modalities, including MRI, near infrared optical, CT, and single photon nuclear (99mTc, 111In, 125I, etc) systems. We focus broadly on imaging molecular events important to initiation, maintenance and progression of cancer, using a combination of custom-built imaging systems and molecularly specific smart probes for the in vivo detection of these events.
