Research Abstract

My research interests include: dietary factors and breast cancer incidence; in particular dietary fat and types of fat. I am interested in how dietary factors and patterns can alter endogenous hormones as a mechanism for altering risk of hormone-dependent cancer. I am also interested in how diet and other lifestyle factors (physical activity, weight loss, social factors, etc.) can affect survival among those already diagnosed with breast cancer and prostate cancer.
