Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Fellowships in Cancer Epidemiology

The Epidemiology Department at the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) has a long tradition of excellence in the study of cancer.  The Program for Training in Cancer Epidemiology is funded by the National Cancer Institute, which provides support for the pre- and post-doctoral training fellowships.

The overall program is directed by Dr. Meir Stampfer; Dr. David Hunter coordinates a track within the program on Molecular and Genetic Epidemiology for those students who wish to incorporate laboratory training.

Levels of training: Predoctoral and postdoctoral
Length of training: 2-3 years
Eligibility: Predoctoral and postdoctoral (MD, DVM, PhD) candidates who are accepted to the doctoral degree program in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or Infectious Disease at the HSPH. Postdoctoral fellows with a prior doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Biology, or Medicine, who will train in Cancer Epidemiology or Molecular Epidemiology.
