Medical Oncologist/Hematologist

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Milford Regional Medical Center are seeking to recruit a board certified or board eligible Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to work in a full-time clinical capacity at the new Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center at Milford Regional Medical Center (DF/BWCC at MRMC).  Candidates for this position should have an interest and expertise in the clinical care of oncology patients as well as in performing clinical trials. The DF/BWCC at MRMC is an exciting new collaboration between the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the Brigham and Women’s Physician Organization and Milford Regional Medical Center. Opened in January of 2008, the Cancer Center houses medical oncology, radiation oncology, laboratory and imaging services in a brand new building on the campus of Milford Regional Medical Center, which is approximately a 45-minute drive from Boston.  The medical oncology unit is a 25,000 square foot state-of-the-art suite that will operate under the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute license.  

The ideal candidate will be able to begin work approximately July 2008.  He or she will become part of an outstanding Milford-based physician practice that joined the DFCI team in January.
