Advance Notice: Breast SPORE Competitive Renewal
The Dana-Farber/Harvard SPORE in Breast Cancer will be soliciting applications for major collaborative translational projects to be included in its 2009 competitive renewal application.
We are giving you advanced notice so you can plan ahead. A formal "Request for Applications" will be issued in mid-September 2008.
Each project must be an authentic collaboration between basic and clinical investigators.
Each project must have a clear translational goal.
Only independent investigators can apply to lead the project. (Independent investigator is defined as current service as a PI or project leader on peer-reviewed research grants (NIH, DOD or equivalent) or serve as overall chairperson or site chairperson on active NCI cooperative group clinical trials or committees directly related to the cancer being investigated by the proposed SPORE).
Please be on the look out for the Breast SPORE RFA in mid-September.
