Cancer Research Collaboration Committee Looking for New Members
The Cancer Research Collaboration Committee (CRCC), a joint venture of the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and the Cancer Research Network is seeking new members. The Cancer Research Network is an NCI-funded consortium of 13 HMOs across the Unites States, with over 11 million enrollees. The CRCC considers and promotes collaborative research between investigators at the DF/HCC and the CRN, with particular emphasis on translational cancer research in diverse populations. The CRN is ideal for studies involving basic, clinical, and population sciences; addressing diverse communities; investigating dissemination of proven technologies and interventions; requiring large samples of patients and/or providers; involving rare cancers; and studying cancer prevention.
The committee is seeking investigators from all DF/HCC member institutions and from basic, clinical, and population based programs. The Committee is coordinated by the DF/HCC Community Practice Core and meets by phone quarterly. If you would like to become a member of the CRCC or would like to nominate someone for membership, please email Larissa_Nekhlyudov@harvardpilgrim.org. More information about the Cancer Research Network is available at http://crn.cancer.gov and the Community Practice Core at http://www.dfhcc.harvard.edu/core-facilities/community-practice/.
