Register for Bridge Project Thoracic Oncology Workshop
The Koch Institute - DF/HCC Bridge Project is designed to help bring the expertise of these two institutions to bear on translational problems in cancer research. A particular emphasis is placed on fostering joint approaches by engineers, cancer scientists and clinicians. Last year, the Bridge Project supported four teams focused on pancreatic cancer and glioblastoma.
This year, we are pleased to announce that the Bridge Project awards will be expanded to support collaborative projects that also include lung, melanoma, and ovarian cancers as focus areas. Teams will be awarded up to $750,000 over two years.
If you are interested in this funding opportunity, we encourage you to hold-the-date and plan to attend the first 2012 Bridge Project workshop focused on thoracic oncology to be held on May 24, from 6 - 8:30 p.m. in MIT's Koch Institute’s Auditorium. There will be a series of talks with ample opportunity for discussion and networking. In addition, information will be provided on the RFA, calendar for next technology and clinical workshops and the timeline for grant submission. The meetings are open to faculty and trainees of Koch Institute, MIT, and DF/HCC.
Registration is required.
