The Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities (CRCHD) has recently updated some of its Web pages! Please take the time to browse through these updates.

Site updates include:

• March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month - CRCHD is pleased to spotlight the effects of colorectal cancer on the population, as well as use of the Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) Web site to learn more poignant cancer statistics.
• New Spotlight! CRCHD grantee, Dr. Gregory Carey, was honored last month with the Martin Luther King Jr. Diversity Award for his mentoring and outreach efforts with underrepresented students.
• New Funding Opportunities! Take advantage of these new funding opportunities being made available to disparities researchers and trainees.

·         New Collaborative Opportunity! Participate in this upcoming NHLBI Population Studies Workshop that will highlight unexplored research areas within longitudinal studies of cardiovascular disease in African Americans and American Indians.
