New Service from NHLBI
Dear Colleagues:
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) has a new service; they can now provide reliable and rapid DNA Re-sequencing and Genotyping.
This service is provided at no cost to qualifying investigators seeking to identify a correlation to specific regions of the genome for heart, lung, blood, and sleep diseases and disorders.
NHLBI will accepting RS&G applications online twice per year on May and November 1. Evaluations of requests will be based on:
- Relevance to Heart, Lung, Blood and Sleep Disorders
- Feasibility
- Adequacy of the size and power
- The data sharing plan
- Evidence the investigators will have the expertise and resources to utilize the data once available.
