Breast Cancer Program

The DF/HCC Breast Cancer Program is notable for its scientific breadth and depth, as well as for extensive interactions and collaborations across DF/HCC institutions and multiple departments and disciplines. The Program seeks to reduce breast cancer morbidity and mortality by promoting transdisciplinary basic, translational, and clinical research within the DF/HCC community.

The program fosters work that focuses on risk identification, prevention, treatment, and survivorship. Its hallmark is translational research, optimized by a web of collaborations between clinical and laboratory and/or population science investigators. Currently, there are more than 100 members in the Breast Cancer Program.
