Prostate Cancer Program

The DF/HCC Prostate Cancer Program, is a multi-institutional, multidisciplinary, interactive research program, which seeks to reduce the burden of prostate cancer through dedicated research on risk identification, molecular disease pathogenesis, and therapeutics. The Program’s current focus is understanding the nature of aggressive disease, understanding resistance to androgen deprivation therapy, abiraterone, enzalutamide and taxanes, defining the molecular aberrations in advanced prostate cancer and developing immunotherapeutic approaches to prostate cancer. Currently, the Program has more than 85 members with representation from each of the DF/HCC member institutions.
