Early career investigators are a unique reservoir of new ideas, innovation, and excellence in cancer research. To celebrate this, we welcome you to join the 10th Annual DF/HCC Celebration of Early Investigators in Cancer Research. This symposium will showcase the talent of early career investigators at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC) who work in several areas of population science, including epidemiology, biostatistics, outcomes, diversity, and survivorship. We will feature our keynote speaker, Dr. Jennifer Temel (MGH) and an exciting panel including Dr. Areej El-Jawahri (MGH), Dr. Deborah Forst (MGH), Dr. Jamie M. Jacobs (MGH), and Dr. Jessica Bauman (Fox Chase). We invite all members of the public to attend the event.
The panel will be followed by rounds of oral presentations and a poster session sponsored by PATHFINDER from DF/HCC early-career investigators showcasing their recent research. We invite students, post-docs, residents, clinical fellows, and early career investigators to submit abstracts for consideration as oral or poster presentations. The deadline for submission is January 20th 2023. We hope this event will provide a valuable opportunity for researchers in the population health sciences to share their discoveries and connect across disciplines.
This half-day event will be held at the Smith 308/309 at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and will be a hybrid event. Speakers are required to participate in person.
