The UMB-DF/HCC Partnership to Advance Cancer Health Equity is hosting a scientific workforce symposium titled “Challenges and Innovations in Diversifying the Scientific Workforce” on May 7, 2021. Dr. Eliseo Pérez-Stable, the Director of the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), has been invited to be the keynote speaker. The symposium will be a discussion on innovative approaches to address persistent challenges on diversifying the biomedical workforce in academia, industry and government. There will be 4 panelists to participate in the discussion.
