Pipelines in Oncology Seminar Series
DF/HCC Pipelines in Oncology is a monthly seminar series for pre-clinical and clinical investigators. We invite leaders from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries to present promising projects and products in their oncology portfolios. Only DF/HCC members are permitted to attend these seminars, and the format typically allows for a presentation, a discussion, and a reception. Additionally, investigators have the option to set up individual meetings with industry representatives and fellows, and post-doctorates may attend a luncheon.
The interest of our research community centers on the rationale developing new clinical candidates; and on preclinical or early clinical data regarding antitumor activity, pharmacokinetics, and toxicity. The goal of the Pipelines series is to establish a closer working relationship with ongoing drug discovery and development efforts. Our newest addition to the Program is companies that focus on diagnostics and novel drug delivery systems.
Each seminar includes an hour-long presentation during which companies provide investigators with an overview of their preclinical and clinical oncology pipelines. In addition, meeting time for post-doc researchers and clinical fellows is allocated, and individual 1:1 meetings are scheduled on behalf of either the investigator or the biotech/pharmaceutical company.
Note: Presentations are designated for DF/HCC members only and are not open to the public.
