Research Abstract

Relapsed and refractory childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) remain difficult clinical challenges despite the use of highly-intensive and toxic therapies, including hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. My research focuses on improving outcomes in these disorders by developing novel therapeutics aimed to 1) optimize upfront therapy, 2) improve outcomes in relapsed/refractory disease and 3) limit long-term toxicity.
