Research Abstract

Our lab works in the broad fields of cell signaling, ubiquitination and gene regulation with special emphasis on applying these systems to investigate cell growth and innate immunity. Research in my lab uses a combination of cellular and molecular methodologies for analysis of host responses. Our lab has made extensive use of genetic and proteomic-based tools to identify novel cellular interaction partners for the NF-kB and IRF signaling systems. In many cases we identified critical roles for E3 ubiquitin ligases in these pathways.
