I am a gastrointestinal oncologist and health services researcher at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. I completed medicine residency at Duke University and oncology fellowship at Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center. My research focuses on optimizing the care delivered to patients with cancer. Specifically, my research platform consists of studies interfacing between palliative care, geriatric oncology, and health services research. My goal is to improve the quality of life and care for patients with cancer and their family. I am interested in developing models of healthcare delivery to improve patients’ quality of life, address their symptom burden, and promote patient-centered decision-making.
