Research Abstract
My research focuses on the methodology of measuring patient-relevant outcomes, including quality of life, preferences, and utilities, and the integration of these measures into decision analysis. I am also interested in the psychology of decision making, and the influence of psychology on the perception and articulation of outcomes. I have a particular focus on women's health, including vulnerable women, caregivers, and family members. My recent work includes NCI-funded research on homeless women's decisions regarding cervical cancer screening, health-related quality of life associated with HPV-related diseases, and the spillover effects of cancer on family members.
